At Black Cat Sweeps LLC, we provide professional chimney sweep and inspection services throughout the Casco Bay Islands, ME. Due to the logistical costs involved in reaching the islands, all jobs include a 15% administrative fee. We do not offer free estimates for chimneys on the Casco Bay Islands; instead, all estimates carry a $175 fee plus the 15% administrative charge.
Our technicians carry smaller items directly to the islands without additional shipping fees. For larger or bulkier materials, we coordinate shipments through Casco Bay Lines using the customer’s account, and payment for these shipping costs is the customer’s responsibility.
Because of the difficulty and expense in traveling to the Casco Bay Islands, we schedule visits to handle either one large job or multiple smaller jobs during each trip. We are unable to make trips for single small jobs, so it’s important that a representative is available at your property on the day of our multi-customer visits.
Our team travels via the 10 a.m. Casco Bay Lines ferry and returns on the 4:30 p.m. ferry on the days we serve the islands. Please ensure your home is accessible during these hours. We provide chimney sweep and inspection services on the Casco Bay Islands from April through November.
